Steele Simons Partners with BLA in Spring Training 2024

To kick off 2024, Steele Simons partnered with Big League Advance, a company that invests in professional players that show the potential of a promising Major League Baseball career, to gift players with their annual Spring Training care package.

The fashion brand that offers high-end comfort wear and premium accessories was co-founded by Steele Walker, who was a former BLA athlete himself. He and his older brother/business partner tailored the brand to fit their lifestyle of travel, comfort, and appreciation for beauty.. in a sense, the life of a professional athlete, which made this collaboration between the two companies a natural one.   

 “Getting more into the community and coming out of the shadows is something that we are intentional in doing more of in 2024. This is my first year personally not playing baseball. My brother and I both do this full time now, so we have the ability to fully invest into growth, and feel led to embed our brand into certain communities that add value into the lives of people. BLA does that for the players.” - Steele Walker

This collaboration is also a unique way to show the current athletes that there is opportunity outside of the game to pursue pathways other than baseball. Steele is an example of that. After 6 years of professional baseball at every level it had to offer, he  is now living out a dream of his, in part, because of BLA’s investment into him.

“To come full circle and give something of our comfort wear collection to the players whose place I was in not long ago is a sweet thing. They’ll see the difference in how we choose our fabrics, the weight, density, and tailoring. We do things thoroughly, and I’m glad we can gift them a piece of that” -Steele Walker.
